Last weekend I went pumpkin picking with my son. It was an abnormally hot Halloween day, but since it was the last weekend of the season for Hank’s Pumpkintown to be open, we decided to go.
I had avoided going to this Watermill, NY, pumpkin farm before because the lines were never-ending, parking was impossible and the fees for entering the corn maze too high. This time it wasn’t so crowded, so it was easier for us to enjoy and for my son to walk/run in his super-furry Elmo costume.
Hank’s has a corn maze, different rides for kids, fresh corn, a mini-store and lots of pumpkins.
Although the pumpkin farm is closed by now, I definitely think that waiting until the last moment was good. Check out the pictures…it was fun!
