New York Fashion Week has officially ended, but the seasons looks have left an imporessions of oddity and uniqueness. One of the looks that was most popular was Spanx, or high waisted under garments. Designers from Marc Jacobs and Alexander Wang had models dressed in garments that were form fitting and showed off the body. Other designers jumped on the same trend with designer Victoria Bartlett calling her collection, “Atlas of Anatomy.” Her designs consisted of tight flesh colored bodysuits that even had shoulder pads on the hips to accentuate the shape. The other trends that were popular were short skirts and dresses. Above the knee was the key for the spring. Look out for stores like Forever 21 and Charlotte Russe to bring these off the runway trends to their clothes and get the look for less.
